Description

A pentimento is a layered painting where you can see elements of the painting that came before it both hidden and revealed giving it an emotive depth that is palpable yet undefinable. In this case, I have conceptually transposed three compositions to become one with a bouquet of Icelandic Poppies in the forefront.
