Refund and Returns Policy

Thank you for choosing to purchase artwork created by Anne Erlewine. 

Please review our refund and return policy for terms and conditions with respect to ensuring your satisfaction upon reception of newly acquired work. 

1. Return/Exchange/Refund Timeline

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days from the date of purchase.

If you are shipping the artwork back, that means that the piece needs to be postmarked at 30 days after purchase date. 

Guidelines specific to protective shipping measures provided below. 

2. Acceptable Item Conditions 

In order for the work to be eligible for return, it needs to be in the original condition that it was in upon reception. Any damage to the work incurred past the point of purchase is the responsibility of the customer. Damaged work may be eligible for assessment and repair on a case by case basis for a fee to be determined by the artist at their discretion. 

3. Refund and Shipping Charges 

In the event that the work is shipped to the customer and arrives damaged upon reception, we will refund or exchange the work at no return shipping or exchange shipping cost to the customer. 

Should a customer want to return the work within 30 days, the shipping cost to return the work is the responsibility of the customer.

Please note the shipping cost upon checkout to ascertain projected return costs. 

Note: No artwork has ever arrived damaged at this point in our shipping experience. 

Packaging and shipping is relatively easy due to the solid structure of the work itself.

The face and back of the piece need to be protected with cardboard, wrapped in two layers of large bubble packing wrap – taking care to tape small pieces of large bubble wrap to each corner to create a third layer to protect the edges. The piece then needs to be secured with a final layer of cardboard that fits the piece tightly. 

Make sure that your shipping avenue marks it as fragile.

4. For refunds we offer the following options:

Full refund: In the event you are dissatisfied with your purchase and you have postmarked your return no later than 30 days past reception, we will give you a full refund.

Partial refund: In the event you purchased more than one item, we can refund the item that you wish to return.  

Exchange: In the event that you would like to exchange your artwork for a piece comparable in price and size, you are welcome to do that as long as the piece you are exchanging for another is postmarked no later than 30 days past reception of the item you are wishing to exchange. Customer is responsible for shipping cost of return and exchange. 

Store Credit: If you decided against the artwork that you ordered and have returned it within 30 days of purchase and would like to receive store credit instead of a return, should you do decide on a piece you are certain of within 6 months, we will match the shipping cost of the original piece you returned when we send you the one you have chosen.  

5. Our return policy is designed to communicate clearly the parameters regarding refunds so that you feel prepared to traverse returning your item should you be dissatisfied with your purchase.
